FROM A PORCH
TO THE WHOLE CITY.
One Long Beach didn't start in a boardroom. It started with neighbors who were tired of waiting for someone else to fix what was happening on their block.
What began as porch conversations grew into walks, then events, then a brand whose only purpose is to keep funding the work. We're not a charity, we're not a clothing company — we're a movement that uses gear to pay for the things our city actually needs.
Timeline
- 2022
It started on a porch
After another late-night incident on the block, a handful of neighbors started meeting on a porch on the east side. The conversation kept coming back to one idea: we have to do this ourselves.
- 2023
First community walks
Weekly neighborhood walks turned into block cleanups, then into block parties. By the end of the year, six neighborhoods were involved.

The first drop
We designed our first tee — a foam hand, the symbol of standing together. Sold out in 48 hours. 100% of proceeds funded a summer youth program.
- 2025
City-wide
Partnerships with violence-interruption groups, local schools, and small businesses across Long Beach. The movement had a name: One Long Beach.

Where we are now
Funding programs, hosting events, and building a community that shows up for itself — one purchase, one neighbor, one block at a time.
